RMT's Offshore Energy Branch

Client: The RMT union's Offshore Energy Branch, provide protection and support to workers across the Offshore energy sector.

Brief: design a new site for the Offshore Energy Branch in Aberdeen with a focus on news from the branch and across the industry.

Actions: We spoke with the branch officers to establish what they needed from the site and how it could benefit their members. They wanted to create a site that provided a full archive of their newsletter, news & views from members, key information about membership and was easy for them to update.

Training: we ran a bespoke training session and provided a training manual to support them in maintaining the site themselves.

KF Watson Electrical

Client: KF Watson Electrical are a local family run business based in Aberdeen and Newburgh providing electrical installation and repair services.

Brief: redesign the previous site for the business, focusing on the electrical services they offer homeowners, residential landlords and commercial landlords.

The site also needed to demonstrate that KF Watson's is a local, experienced, family run business offering a quality service and value to their customers.

Actions: we talked extensively to Keith and Frances Watson, the founders of KF Watson, to find out what they offer customers and the values of their business. They wanted to focus on the range of services they provide, and the experience, qualifications and professionalism their team brings to their work.

Special features: we installed an online chat tool (Tidio) so they could answer customer questions as quickly and easily.

Training: we ran a bespoke training session and provided a training manual to support them in maintaining the site themselves.

Stuart Watt plumbing and heating website shown on desktop, tablet and mobile devices

Stuart Watt Plumbing & Heating

Client: Stuart Watt Plumbing & Heating are specialist in air source heating, based in Banchory, Aberdeenshire

Brief: build a new site for the business explaining the heating and plumbing services they offer.

The site also needed to demonstrate how Stuart and his team approach air source heat pump installations, and advise their potential clients on the information needed to assess their property for an air source heat installation before an onsite survey.

Actions: we worked closely with Stuart to find out exactly what his business offers customers and the focus of the business going forward so the website could reflect this.

Special features: we created tailored information about how Stuart and his team manage their air source heat pump installations and what customers can expect during the process. We also developed a portfolio of projects demonstrating the range of work Stuart's business undertakes from traditional gas boilers and plumbing, to installing renewable heating (air source heat pumps).

Training: we ran a bespoke training session and provided a training manual to support Stuart in maintaining the site.
